I’m truly honored to have been awarded three awards from the Northern Light Gallery’s March Art’s Choice 5 Competition. The competition was divided into several categories including painted media and drawn media. I only submitted works into the drawn media for this competition. Best of Division is considered 1st Place and Judge’s Choice is considered 2nd Place.

Drawn Media Results:
Bee Eater Bird won the Judge’s Choice award in the drawn media category. Bee Eater Bird was made with pastels on 8″x10″ dark grey Pastelmat. Reference photo by Wolfgang Vogt. This is the first award that this artwork has earned.
Cardinal Icy Feet won the Special Merit award in the drawn media category. Cardinal Icy Feet was made with pastels on 10″x8″ light blue Pastelmat. Reference photo by Terry Colby. This is the second award that this artwork has earned.
Overcomer won the Special Merit award in the drawn media category. Overcomer was drawn in pastels on 16×20″ sand Pastelmat. Reference photo by Dennis Jacobsen. This is the third award that this artwork has earned.
